Comparison Graph Widget User Guide
Working with Comparison Graph Widgets
The Comparison Graph Widget allows the User the ability to evaluate traffic data collected by the DCMS system. The Comparison Graph Widget displays traffic data collected for two individual days, from the same Detector Group. The traffic data from both comparison days is displayed together on the same Graph, to provide a visual contrast of the information.
To Edit a Widget
To Edit a Widget, click the green "circle" button on the Widget Control Bar. An "Edit Settings" window appears to show the Widget's settings or preferences. Change the settings, and then click OK button to show updated Widget view.
The table below outlines the functionality of the Comparison Graph Widget components.

Detector Group
From the pull-down list, Select a Detector Group. Select the "Active" Detector Group to use the traffic data of the highlighted Device in the Map Widget view. |
Data Type
From the pull-down list, Select the from the list of available data collected by the detection Device, Total Volume, Average Speed, Vehicle Classification, Level of Service, Average Time Occupancy.

Day - Today / Yesterday / This Day Last Week
From the pull-down list, Select the Day of the week for use as a base data source for the Comparison Graph.

Days Back
Enter a number to access a Day, in the past, to use as the comparison Day for the final Comparison Graph. |
Presentation
From the pull-down list, Select the type of Chart you wish to render, Bar Graph or a Line Graph. |
Resolution
From the pull-down list, Select the amount of time used to summarize the data, in 15 Minutes, 30 Minutes, 1 Hour, or 1 Day. |

Calculation Type
From the pull-down list, Select the way you wish to determine your data criteria, by Average (averaging the data) or by Sum. |
OK
Click OK button to view resulting graph in the Comparison Graph Widget.
